It's finally finished! It all started with a fleece from a sheep named Queen Anne's Lace. Much of last summer was spent spinning her beautiful fiber into yarn. Experimenting with natural dyes, I tried madder root and got this lovely shade of coral. So, this summer I spent Fridays warping and weaving this scarf - so charmingly modeled by Rachel. Measurements are 60" x 10" plus fringe.
The scarf is on display at the Museum and will be raffled off in September. Tickets are only $1.00. Stop in for your chance to win this one-of-a-kind handmade item!
